YVW – Donvale Branch Sewer - Package C

The project area is located in Donvale within the Manningham and Maroondah Local Government Areas. The Donvale Sewerage Project is located in a primarily residential landscape draining to the Mullum Mullum Creek and covers 705 hectares of land, including 1,113 residences and public facilities.

The project is to be constructed by trenchless techniques, within parklands, road reserves and private property. The works under this contract includes, the supply and installation of approximately 4.2 km of DN750 to DN400 gravity sewer mains up to a depth of 11m. Many sections of the Works are constructed within areas of environmental and heritage significance. Access track construction and environmental fencing are required as well as the Cultural Heritage salvaging of artefacts in 9 locations.
