YVW – Woodstock Sewage Pump Station & Pipelines

  • Construction of a new Woodstock Sewage Pumping Station (SPS744), Ø450 GRP Branch Sewer and Ø355 Rising Main. The new sewage pump station will enable the flows from new developments in the area to be lifted to the Donnybrook East Branch Sewer approximately 1.2km to the west.
  • Construction of 470m of MSCL Drinking Water (DW) and 470m of MSCL Non-drinking Water (NDW) mains to provide mandated drinking water and non-drinking water to the new developments along Donnybrook Rd.
  • Methodologies for the pipelines included open-trench, horizontal directional drilling and micro-tunnelling
  • Stakeholder engagement included Whittlesea Council, Wurundjeri, Developers, Land Owners, Melbourne Water and VicRoads.
