YVW – Glenroy Branch Sewer - Stage 1 & 2B


Project Scope

The Glenroy Branch Sewer upgrade was required to prevent spills to the environment during wet weather events. The project will improve the local environment within the Pascoe Vale catchment. The project has been divided into two stages.

This project is for the construction of Stage 1 which consists of the duplication of the upper section of the Glenroy Branch Sewer (GLN) with approximately 1km of DN401 and DN375 relieving sewer. This relieving sewer is called the Glenroy Reliever (GRR). The works are a combination of trenchless and open cut construction mostly within existing roadways. Full Diversions of the existing GLN sewer to the new GRR sewer at manholes GLN44 and GLN48.
