YVW – Craigieburn Epping Transfer System – Stage 1

Construction works were delivered across three locations:

Craigieburn Treatment Plant: Construction and fitout of a new Chemical Dosing Facility. Supply and installation of pumps pipework and associated electrical and instrumentation works for a wet well pump station.

Aurora Treatment Plant: Construction and fitout of a new Chemical Dosing Facility. Construction of a new flow control facility including 1 x 79 kL feed tank and 2 x 202 kL balance tanks; supply and installation of inlet pumps and associated civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation works.

Cotters Road: Construction of new FRP sewer and 2 x FRP maintenance holes. Construction of a new valve station and associated electrical and instrumentation works. Decommissioing and demolition of existing pump station and chemical dosing facility.

The Chemical Dosing Facilities include a chemical storage bund with FRP grating floor, chemical delivery area; chemical storage bund enclosure; 2 x 23 kL & 2 x 27kL chemical storage tanks; double containment pipework, dosing pumps & equipment; dosing panels & pits; safety showers & eyewash stations.
